Origin: France

 Height at shoulder: 21–25 inches (53–65 cm)

 Weight: 50–70 pounds (23–32 kg)

 Coat: Medium length, wiry; eyebrows, mustache, and beard

 Color: Shades of fawn or gray; may have minimal white markings on chest and tips of toes

 Ears: Upright, triangular

 Tail: Long, slightly curved at tip
