Also known as: Farm Shepherd, Old-Fashioned Farm Collie, and Old Shep

Origin: Eastern and Midwestern United States

Height at shoulder: 18–24 inches (46–61 cm)

Weight: 40–90 lbs

Coat: Medium length, straight to wavy, slightly coarse texture

Color: Black or sable with or without white

Ears: Folded over or semi-erect

Tail: Long, thickly furred
