Australian Cattle Dog

Also known as: ACD, Blue Heeler, Queensland Heeler

Origin: Australia

Height at shoulder: 17–20 inches (44–30 cm)

Weight: 35–50 pounds (9.5–23 kg)

Coat: Short, smooth, tight fitting, hard

Color: Blue and red ticked or speckled (not merle), with or without black or tan markings

Ears: Upright, pointed tips

Tail: Long, thick, straight

Coat: Short, close fitting, straight; medium-harsh texture

Color: Blue, blue speckled, red (mottled or speckled); can have black markings but not tan

Ears: Medium size, pointed, upright

Tail: Natural bob
