Shetland Sheepdog

Also known as: Sheltie or Toonie

Origin: Great Britain/Shetland Islands

Height at shoulder: 13–16 inches (33–41 cm)

Weight: 20–25 pounds (9–11 kg)

Coat: Long, straight, harsh; appears to stand off from the body

Color: Black, blue merle, and sable (ranging from golden through mahogany), with varying amounts of white and/or tan markings

Ears: Small, high set, erect, with just the tips folded forward

Tail: Long, hanging down or curved slightly upward
