Origin: Hungary

Height at shoulder: 13–19 inches (33–48 cm)

Weight: 18–33 pounds (8–15 kg)

Coat: Thick wavy/curly coat that forms tufts or locks, not cords; not feltlike

Color: Black, gray, or fawn, with or without small white markings on chest or toes

Ears: High set, upright, with just tips folded over and covered with hair longer than rest of body

Tail: Carried high and curved above the croup
